What is the Sudbury Art Association Holiday Market? Holiday Market is a wonderful collaboration of our artists who pull together to plan a magical holiday pop-up store. Every year we find a space in town and endeavor to create a warm, inviting shopping experience for all. Different from other art fairs, Holiday Market is run like a true shop with a central checkout system. The shop is run by our artists and their individual displays are well stocked - be sure to stop by often as many artists bring in new work throughout the 5-6 weeks the store is open.
Babacool Arts & Friends Holiday Sale

Come find one-of-a-kind, hand-made pieces for the people on your list while supporting friendly local artists on Saturday, December 2 from 11am - 3pm. This year, there are works in pottery, metal, jewelry, wood, fiber, mixed media, holiday ornaments, paintings, books, some fun oddities, and a few last minute creative surprises, plus a warm bonfire — all on the magical grounds of Babacool Arts Studio!

My next event is the Sudbury Art Association's Art Fair on June 10th at 29 Hudson Road in Sudbury (MA). Over 30 artists will be at this outdoor event, along with the fabulous businesses nearby to grab a meal or drink. I will have a lot of new pieces to share, and I am happy to announce that my son Kai will be joining me with the art he creates by welding my steel scraps together. We really hope to see you there :)

Here are my events for this year!
MAY 6 (10am - 3pm) - MAY DAY WITH BABACOOL ARTS & FRIENDS. I've invited a few artist friends to join me for an open studio/celebration of spring in my Art Barn & on my grounds. 218 Sugar Road, Bolton (MA).
JUNE 11 (10am - 4pm) - SUDBURY ART ASSOCIATION'S SPRING ART FAIR - Thirty plus artists (including myself) will be selling our artwork in Sudbury Town Center - 29 Hudson Road, Sudbury (MA).
SEPT 30 (10-4)/OCT 1 (12-4) - BOLTON & HARVARD OPEN STUDIOS - I will be opening my Art Barn & Grounds to the public as part of our 5th Annual two-town wide open studios event. 218 Sugar Road, Bolton (MA).

AVENUE C DESIGN (Framingham, MA) - A wonderful home & art store in a charming venue at Eastleigh Dairy Farm.
CENTRAL MASS GARDEN CENTER (Lunenburg, MA) - my favorite garden center! I have some larger pieces here, including my art car, Bird Love Betty.
DECORDOVA SCULPTURE GARDEN & MUSEUM GIFT SHOP (Lincoln, MA) - with a focus on sculpture, both this venue and their shop are fabulous (a great place to walk around outside among large sculptures).
FIVE CROWS (Natick, MA) - Local artists fill this store with a wide variety of styles and unique pieces. Worth a visit!
HUDSON ART & FRAMING (Hudson , MA) - a wonderful art store located on the roundabout in lovely Hudson.
KITCHEN SINK (Bolton & Groton, MA) - fantastic candles, home, bath & body store that has a wonderful selection of art from local artists and artisans.

I just installed my first steampunk tree at the Dirigible Brewery in Littleton (MA)...if you enjoy good beer (or they have nice selection of flavor shots for seltzers if you prefer) it's worth a visit!

I have two large Holiday Shows this year...
BOLTON ARTISANS GUILD & FRIENDS HOLIDAY SHOW & SALE - Here at my studio/grounds at 218 Sugar Road in Bolton on NOVEMBER 19 (10am - 2pm) - raindate November 20th. Come out to visit with your local friendly artists - all of us will be showing and selling our latest works in a festive holiday show with a toasty fire to warm up by. We'd love to see you!
SUDBURY ART ASSOCIATION'S HOLIDAY MARKET - Once again i will have a booth at the pop-up SAA Holiday Market! This year it will be open every day Nov. 11 - Dec. 24 (10am - 6pm...Thursdays until 8pm) and in the TJMaxx Plaza in Sudbury - just a couple doors down from TJMaxx. Over 30 artists are participating!
Don't forget - I also have a booth at Knotty Pine Design in Hudson (MA), and art in the following fabulous stores: Avenue C at Eastleigh Farm (Framingham), deCordova Sculpture Museum Gift Shop (Lincoln), Five Crows (Natick), Hudson Art & Framing (Hudson) and the Nashoba Valley Winery (Bolton).

I'm happy to annouce that my car, Bird Love Betty, is currently on display at Old Frog Pond Farm & Studio (in Harvard, MA) as part of the Wondrous Creatures exhibit! I am collaborating with artist Anne Eder - she has created an amazing creature driver for her, and our collaboration is titled "A Wild Road Trip." Picture shown is by Anne Eder.

MOTHER’S DAY with BOLTON ARTISANS GUILD & FRIENDS
Bolton Town Common from 10am - 3pm on Saturday, May 7, 2022.
Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with us! The Bolton Artisans Guild has invited artists from Bolton and our surrounding communities to show and sell hand-made, original art at the Bolton Town Common. Come enjoy the day with us and see what beautiful surprises your local art community can create!
We are now recruiting artists for this event!
Details for participating artists:

$30 booth fee (to be used on advertising).

Artists would be required to be fully set up by 10am in their assigned location

Artists have to provide their own set-up/display (10x10 tents are encouraged, but not required)

At this point, we are not sure if any food will be available for purchase, so plan on bringing your own food and water.

Port-a-potties will be available for artists and public use
-
After unloading your set-up, we request that you park off the premises before setting up. The Bolton Common parking lot is small and will be reserved for our customers. Locations of parking lots close by will be sent to you before the event for easy parking.

We ask that you help us advertise! Social media graphics will be provided for you to share. If you have an email list, please let your fans know (and if you don’t have an email list, this is a great event to start one!).
