i am very excited to announce that I have a "booth" at Knotty Pine Design & Consigment in Hudson, MA (43 Broad St, Hudson, MA 01749)!  I love the space - a beautiful old warehouse called "The Landing,"  which has a lot of new, up and coming businesses in the large space. Knotty Pine is a lovely store on the 2nd floor - it has a wonderful mix of vintage wares and art.  Please visit and look for my booth!  The other businesses at The Landing are quite wonderful, as well...I would recommend going into the stained glass artist's gallery on the first floor, and have a healthy, tasty bite at Good Earth Holistic Kitchen.

SUMMER 2021

I have a few things going on this summer that I wanted to share.

Next Saturday, June 12th I will have a tent at the only art fair I will be at this summer...come and see me and 40 other fabulous artists!:
SPRING INTO ART!  The Sudbury Art Association (SAA) is hosting a late-spring art fair
Date:  Saturday, June 12th - Rain-date Sunday June 13
Time:  10am - 4pm
Location:  SAA Member Rozsi Moser's yard at 341 Lincoln Road, Sudbury MA

OLD FROG POND FARM & STUDIO Sculpture Walk - I am excited to announce that I will have an outdoor public sculpture in the 15th annual Sculpture Walk at the Old Frog Pond Farm & Studio in Harvard, MA (not far from my studio!).  The sculpture walk is available to experience from August 1 - October 9 (and check out their amazing farmstand too!).   If you haven't visited here, I would highly recommend it.  It's the only organic apple orchard in Massachusetts, and their sculpture walk on a trail through their woods is a magical experience.  I'm so happy to be a part of it!  https://oldfrogpondfarm.com/

Finally, for the rest of the summer I will be working on my OLD CAR PROJECT.  I'm also very excited about this...it's been a dream of mine to cut a design into an old vehicle that has been retired, while keeping the lovely lines of the vehicle completely intact (and save it from the crusher in the process).  The universe answered my wish and provided me with a beauty!  I will be posting my progress later this summer on social media - look up "Babacool Arts" on Instagram and Facebook and follow me to see how it goes!  Or see it in person at one of my studio events this fall!

SAA Holiday Market & Cancelled BAG Event

It's with a heavy heart that I have to announce that the Bolton Artisan's Guild Holiday Show & Sale, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13 at my studio & grounds, is canceled.  It was a hard decision...but the town of Bolton is currently listed as "Red" - high risk for spreading the Coronavirus, and it seems irresponsible to risk it.

On a brighter note, the Sudbury Art Association's Holiday Market is still happening!  We're at the same place as last year (29 Hudson Road - look for our signs!), and we're following all recommended social distancing requirements.  We even have Tuesday currently set aside for people to make appointments and have the store to themselves (with only one artist present to check them out).  Find all the details here:   https://www.sudburyart.org/holiday-market-info

Also note that while I do have a "booth" set up inside the market (yay!  I'm on the first floor this year!), I also have pieces of art at my studio that I can bring to the market for pickup.  These items are listed under the "SAA Holiday Market" tab under the "Art" tab above.  If you see something you'd like to purchase, please contact me directly at yvette@babacoolyvette.com, and we can arrange the sale (either pickup at my studio in Bolton or at the SAA Holiday Market in Sudbury).

Happy Holidays everyone, and stay safe!

Assuming we're all good with COVID in the area, this is my schedule over the next few months.  Both events have masks and social distancing required so everyone can feel safe.

The Sudbury Art Association's Holiday Market - We are so excited to be back at 29 Hudson Road in Sudbury. We have 19 In-Store artists this year PLUS 10 Online Artists for a record 29 this year including 7 new participants. We're opening November 13th and have many open days planned through Dec. 24th. Click on the link above for more details and our open days schedule!

Bolton Artisans Guild & Friends Holiday Show & Sale - right here at my own studio and grounds (218 Sugar Road, Bolton MA). November 14th, 11am - 3pm. Multiple local artists will be scattered in tents throughout the grounds in a European-style Holiday Market! We hope to have carolers...so enjoy a festive afternoon, support your local artists, while finding unique holiday gifts!

Calendar for the Remaining 2019

2019 is flying by!  Here is my calendar for the rest of this fall into the Holidays...

October 12 - 14 - Scituate Art Festival - This is a new festival for me - but it comes highly recommended by fellow artist friends so I'm giving it a try.  Come check it out...it will be fun to be in a new venue!

November - December - The Sudbury Art Association Holiday Market - once again we'll be up and running at our 29 Sudbury Location (same as last year).  Our pop-up has become incredibly popular for artists, so we have a nice variety of holiday shopping options....look for my booth on the top floor!  More details (like specific dates) can be found in the link above.

NOVEMBER 16 - BOLTON ARTISANS GUILD & FRIENDS HOLIDAY SHOW & SALE - I'm hosting his year's event in my Art Barn!  Come to my studio - I'm sharing it with friends and if weather permits, we're making a Christmas Village out of it!  Outdoor fire, holiday treats, and maybe even carolers!  Come support our small-town local artists and find some unique gifts!  218 Sugar Road, Bolton MA - 10am - 3pm

November 22 - 23 - Pro.Found Holiday Market - I'm joining the Pro.Found crew once again - this time for their holiday market!  Come do a little early holiday shopping!

December 6 - 8 - ArtSpace Holiday Sale - Once again I will be in the ArtSpace Maynard's Gallery for their annual holiday sale!  This is one of my favorite venues...wander around the halls and gallery, visit artist studios and enjoy the festive atmosphere surrounded by art!  It's wonderful!

I'm excited to announce the Decordova Sculpture Park and Museum invited me to be in their 2019 Holiday Market! More info to come! Here's a complete list of the stores you'll find me in this holiday season:

Avenue C at Eastleigh Farm, Framingham - I have a variety of my artwork here.  Great people - and I love their space! They have a lovely selection of artisan wares, vintage goods, and beautiful signs, all in a beautiful building on a working dairy farm. If you're lucky, they'll be selling ice cream from their cow-bus!

deCordova Holiday Market - I'm so excited to be invited to this for the 2019 holiday season! Come walk around the amazing sculpture park and then do a little shopping in their beautiful store! More details to come...

Five Crows in Natick - I would recommend swinging by here if you're ever in Natick...a very different group of artists (ranging from a little further outward) - a lovely selection with great variety.

Laurel Grove in Sudbury - another really beautiful shop.  I get lost in the rooms (in a good way!) and always buy something when I'm dropping off my artwork.

Nashoba Winery in my hometown, Bolton - As part of the Bolton Artisan's Guild, I have some of my pieces on the walls in the front room where they are selling the wine.  It's always fun to stop in here...do a tasting or fill your growler while you're checking out the art!

6 Bridges Gallery in Maynard - another easy stop if you're in the Maynard area...it's also focused on local art in a wonderful gallery setting and there are some really beautiful things here.
